You are not required to provide the personal information that we have requested, but, because the information we collect is necessary to provide the products and services we offer, you will be unable to use our products.

Here are some examples of the types of personal information we may collect and how we may use it:

• When you register for an account on our website, we may collect information such as your name and email address.
• When you purchase a license key for our Excel add-in software, we may collect your name and email address.
• When you install our Excel add-in software, we may collect information about your computer such as the computer name and your Windows username (login name), that, when combined with other information, could potentially be used to identify you. This information is required to authenticate users and licenses of our Excel add-in software.

How We Use Personal Data

We may use your personal information for the following purposes:

• To assist with the identification and authorization of users and license keys of our Excel add-in software.
• For internal purposes such as reporting and data analysis, to improve our products and services we offer our customers.
• To notify you of software updates and other critical information related to your use of our Excel add-in software.

Data Related to Payment Processing

We use Stripe Inc. as our payment processor. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant and is a leader in online payment processing systems. We never store on our servers any information related to the purchase of our products and services other than:

• The email address used to make the purchase.
• The date and time of the purchase.

All payments are processed on Stripe servers. Once Stripe determines a transaction is successful, we receive a token from Stripe used to identify the transaction. We process this token and use it to retrieve the above two pieces of information, which we store on our servers for the purposes of assigning and authenticating license keys. We do not store on our servers, nor have access to, your credit card information or banking information.

Collection of Non-Personal Data

When you visit our website or use our Excel add-in software, we may collect data in a form that does not, on its own, permit direct association with any specific individual. The following are examples of non-personal information that we may collect and how we may use it:

• We may collect information such as unique device identifiers, language, location, and the time zone where a FormulaBoost product is used so that we can better understand how our customers use our products.
• We may collect information on how you use our products and services, including usage logs.

If we do combine non-personal information with personal information, or with any other non-personal information for the purpose of building a profile of an individual, the combined information will be treated as personal information for as long as it remains combined.

• Google Analytics - website analytics

We may share your data with these parties, or they may collect data on our behalf. We do not share your data with any other third parties other than those parties listed in this privacy statement.

Protection of Personal Data

The protection of your data is especially important to us. Data transmitted from our Excel add-in is done using encryption such as Transport Layer Security (TLS). We do not store payment sensitive information on our servers as outlined in the Data Related to Payment Processing section of this statement. Passwords for corporate administrator accounts are stored on our servers using salted encryption algorithms.

Updates to Privacy Statement

We may update this privacy statement from time to time. Any changes made to our privacy statement will be accompanied with an updated "Last updated" date as it appears on the privacy statement, and changes we deem material will be accompanied with a notification on our website. The use of information collected is subject to the privacy statement at the time such information is used. You are bound by any changes to the privacy statement when you use our products and services after such changes have first been posted on our website.
